Enry’s Island S.p.A. is the world’s first and only listed Venture Builder (Vienna Stock Exchange, Ticker: EIOS) , with a distributed team of over 800 stakeholders worldwide, 5 Local Companies and over 30 startups in portfolio focused mainly in the Web 3.0, Metaverse, b and Gaming sectors. 

We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Freelance Copywriter (20 hours of work starting from November 2024) with at least 5 years of Copywriting experience in the gaming industry to join our team in developing text content for the video game Enry’s Island Adventures. If you love video games and can create immersive and engaging text that enriches the gaming experience, this is the opportunity for you.

As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for writing dialogue, descriptions, lore, quests, and text that bring the Enry’s Island Adventures universe to life. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that the texts are not only well written, but also seamlessly integrated into the gameplay and narrative world of the game.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop immersive text for Enry’s Island Adventures, including descriptions of characters, settings, quests, and game objects.
• Write dynamic and realistic dialogues that reflect the characters’ personalities and enrich the game’s storyline.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate texts within the flow of the game, ensuring narrative coherence and fluidity.
• Contribute to the construction of the game world, developing lore and backstory that make Enry’s Island Adventures a memorable experience.
• Work on interactive text that influences player decisions and consequences in the game.
• Ensure the style of language is consistent with the tone, theme, and atmosphere of the game.
• Test the game in development to adapt and refine the texts based on feedback received.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of copywriting experience, with a focus in video game content development.
• Passion for video games, with a solid understanding of narrative dynamics and game structures.
• Proven experience in writing dialogue, interactive storytelling or game content.
• Excellent storytelling skills and strong attention to detail to ensure consistency and narrative immersion in English and Italian.
• Ability to collaborate with creative and development teams, managing feedback and iterations on texts (in English and Italian)
• Autonomy in meeting deadlines and ability to adapt to project needs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in writing text for adventure or open-world video games.
• Knowledge of narrative management tools (e.g., Twine, Inklewriter) and game design platforms.
• Ability to adapt copy for different target audiences while maintaining a tone consistent with the game genre.
